![]() Q: What kind of applicants does DHA represent? A: Since 1994, DHA has worked on a growing basis with Navy Gas Systems Electricians as the industrial demand for these applicants has grown. We are now seeking GSE's to serve as Power Plant Operators and Maintenance Electricians at industrial facilities throughout the United States. Q: Is there a fee for the services provided to GSE's by DHA? A: No. There is no cost to any of our applicants as all of our fees are exclusively employer paid. Q: What kinds of career opportunities can DHA offer to GSE's? A: Our clients presently include Electric Power Production Companies, Steel Companies, Heavy Manufacturing Companies, Chemical Companies, and Information Technology Companies. Most of our openings are in Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Field Service, or Customer Technical Support. Some of these select positions are also for Management or First Line Supervisory Positions. Q: When do I need to have a completed application on file with DHA? A: Ideally, we would like to have your resume along with our completed Resume Supplement Sheet on file about six months before your EAOS. Most importantly, we need your resume about 90 days before your actual availability date to be able to most effectively market you to our client companies. Q: What are the typical starting salaries offered by your client companies for GSE's? A: The base starting compensation for most Gas Systems Electricians is between $44K and $54K. Frequently, these positions also present the option of making an additional $8K to $10K per year in overtime paid at 1.5 times the base hourly rate. Gas Systems Electricians who have completed Bachelor's Degrees in Engineering Technology are typically also qualified for select salaried positions between $48K and $56K. Enlisted personnel with Bachelor's Degrees in Engineering usually have starting salaries between $55K and $62K. Q: What are the benefits offered by most of your client companies? A: All of our client companies offer a standard comprehensive benefit package. Q: Does DHA conduct group interviews with client companies near Navy Bases? A: Yes. Over the past several years DHA has scheduled over 20 group interview sessions near Navy Bases with client companies on both coasts.
