We are presently looking for Navy Nuclear Qualified Electricians Mates, Electronics Technicians, Machinists Mates, and Engineering Laboratory Technicians to be considered for positions as Auxiliary Operators with several of our Nuclear Utility Clients at various locations in the United States throughout 2002 and beyond.

Our long-term clients are respected industry leaders that emphasize both professional and personal growth for their valued employees.  These client companies offer competitive compensation, an extensive array of benefits, company-paid training, and a high quality of life for those who wish to excel in a high-tech field.

Qualified candidates who meet our screening requirements are typically flown to the respective plant site at company expense for the appropriate testing, interviews, and plant tour.  Successful applicants are then placed in an extensive training program that is similar to the Navy Nuclear Pipeline Schools including both class room work and hands-on instruction.  This intensive training process can be viewed by Navy Nukes as one of requalifying on a Commercial Nuclear Plant.

The starting annual base rate of pay for these positions is between $38K and $44K, depending upon the specific Nuclear Plant.  Once through the company sponsored training program (which is usually completed in six to 18 months) the annual base rate of pay rises to the Mid-$50Ks.  There is also a considerable amount of paid overtime at nearly all of our clients' facilities.  All of these openings require rotating shift work that is most often based upon 12-hour shifts.

These openings provide long-term career opportunities with upward mobility for Navy Nukes who have the desire and motivation to eventually serve as Reactor Operators or Senior Reactor Operators in the Commercial Nuclear Power Industry.

Each of our Nuclear Utility Clients offers an extensive benefit program including a 401(k) savings and investment plan, two weeks of vacation after one year of employment, paid overtime, annual cost-of-living allowances, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance.

Other benefits include employer-paid insurance coverage for medical care, prescription drugs, dental care, and vision and hearing care, as well as life insurance and long-term disability insurance.

Any Navy Nuclear Candidate who is seriously interested in re-entering the Commercial Nuclear Power Industry as an Auxiliary Operator should have his or her resume and a completed copy of our Navy Nuclear Enlisted Resume Supplement Sheet on file with us.
